      China is a major consumer of natural rubber, with an annual consumption of more than 3.8 million tons. At the same time, China is also a country with scarce natural rubber resources, with an annual output of only 600,000 tons and a self-sufficiency rate of less than 1/4.
Rare earth isoprene rubber is obtained by cis-polymerization of isoprene catalyzed by rare earth catalyst. Because its structure and properties are the closest to natural rubber, it is also called synthetic natural rubber. It is the most ideal synthetic rubber to replace natural rubber. Through the innovative research, the Key Laboratory of Synthetic Rubber of Changchun Yinghua Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences has made the developed rare earth isoprene rubber the isoprene rubber with the closest application performance to natural rubber at home and abroad, and realized the vulcanization rate of rare earth isoprene rubber and natural rubber for the first time. Synchronization, the realization of any ratio of rare earth isoprene rubber to natural rubber. They successfully developed a highly active, high cis-oriented rare earth catalyst system, which greatly reduced the cost of the catalyst; invented the diolefin coordination reversible chain transfer polymerization to improve the utilization of rare earth; developed advanced adiabatic polymerization technology, high viscosity glue 15 patents and proprietary technologies such as viscosity reduction technology, energy-saving coagulation and supercharging technology, integrated advanced technology in advanced chemical reactors, automatic control, energy conservation and environmental protection, etc., forming China's first 10,000-ton rare earth isoprene rubber production technology The software package has laid an important foundation for accelerating the scale industrialization of rare earth isoprene rubber in China.
